The Rubin Group (TRG) is a family owned and operated real estate development and management firm founded in 2009. The principals of TRG have been involved in real estate investment and development activities for over 35 years. TRG’s strategic business plan is to acquire and develop properties that are projected to produce either short term returns significantly higher than other investment categories or offer the potential for substantial long term appreciation while assuming a reasonable level of risk. Over the past four years TRG has completed or currently has in development fifteen projects containing about 150 units.
TRG specializes in developing rental and for-sale multi-unit residential properties. Our geographic focus is the Washington, DC metropolitan area, where due to supply constraints and regulatory hurdles, there is a limited inventory of newly constructed housing and strong and stable demand for these properties. Our development philosophy is based on projects being well-located, in either established or rapidly improving neighborhoods with accessible public transportation options, preferably within close proximity to Metro stations or bus routes. Our strength is the ability to find projects that through careful planning and exceptional design can be adaptively reused, upgraded or redeveloped to yield substantially higher rental or sales revenues. Each TRG project is unique, and our understanding and emphasis on efficient and functional design and high quality construction has proven to be a significant competitive advantage.
TRG has extensive internal capabilities as well as an integrated network of professionals with acquisition, architectural and design, project management, construction, leasing and tenant management, and marketing and sales expertise. When coupled with TRG’s access to bank financing and network of investors, the result is an expanding pipeline of potential projects.
