In December 2014, The Rubin Group acquired the building at 2233 40th Place NW, Washington, DC.

The property is located in the Glover Park submarket of the highly desirable Georgetown/ Cathedral Heights market. With its unique combination of a quiet family oriented neighborhood within walking distance to shopping, the attractions of Georgetown and excellent neighborhood schools, this neighborhood is popular with young families and couples.

The property is currently improved with an approximately 2,720 SF brick four-unit apartment building which was constructed in 1936. The building had been poorly maintained for a number of years with little investment and a minimum of upkeep. Prior to the purchase of this property, TRG worked with the remaining tenants during the TOPA (Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act) process to purchase their rights and insure compliance with these regulations.
